The largest beach of Thassos, Golden Beach, is located in the eastern part of the island, 12km from Limenas and just 4km from Panagia.

The very popular beach is organized, with easy access and parking and is awarded with a blue flag.

This enchanting beach owes its name to the golden reflection of the sun on the sand. Its shallow crystal clear waters make Golden Beach ideal for small children. Its location is ideal for walks, especially to the other end of the beach, Skala Potamia.
